Seascape Upgrades Hauling Operations with New Set of High Cubic Trucks

Seascape Logistics has strengthened the transport facilities with the addition of brand new high-cubic tipping trucks, in line with their commitment to meeting the service requirements of their esteemed clients. This latest fleet enhancement further supports Seascape Logistics’ growing transportation and logistics operations across Sri Lanka in bulk cargo handling.

With a clear focus on operational efficiency and service reliability, these newly added trucks will enhance the capacity to handle increased transport demands while ensuring timely and dependable service delivery to our clients with a safer and technically upgraded systems.

Being a leading and a professional logistics partner in the industry, Seascape Logistics plays a major role in supporting their valued clients to meet their service requirements in a more reliable manner. This new fleet enhancement will be a definite value additional in moving with the future plans of the company, in a more stable operational excellence.

The official handing over of the new fleet was taken place at Leyland Lanka Factory at Panagoda in July 2025, with the participation of the Managing Director Theekshane Makevita, Chief Executive Officer Sampath Wijesinghe, General Manager – Works & Administration of Ashok Leyland, Sugath Weerakoon and with some of the senior officers of both the companies. The Manager Ms. Nadeesha Manage and the Senior Executive Ms. Chamindri Perera of Commercial Bank PLC – Duplication Road branch also at the occasion, as the financial partner for this fleet purchasing for Seascape Logistics. 


Seascape Enhances Logistics Operations at INSEE Ruhunu Cement Manufacturing Plant

By diversifying our extended logistics services, Seascape Logistics has signed and executed the total cement dispatch operation at INSEE Ruhunu Cement Manufacturing Plant on 01st December 2025. The new operation is fledged with a brand-new fleet of high cubic forklift machines, bough through UTE Lanka Limited. 

This investment is a part of our ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency, safety, and productivity at key operational locations. The newly commissioned forklifts will play a vital role in handling palletized cargo, ensuring smoother material movement and an optimized workflow at the INSEE Cement Plants.

The official handover marks another step in our commitment to upgrading equipment and infrastructure to meet growing operational demands while maintaining high service standards for our esteemed clients.

The official handing over of the new machines was took place in the month of December 2026, with the participation of our managing director Theekshane Makevita, Chief Executive Officer Sampath Wijesinghe Senior General Manager – Operations of UTE Duminda Perera and with some of the senior officers of both the companies. Commercial Bank PLC – Duplication Road branch joined as the financial partner for this equipment purchasing with Seascape Logistics.

Seascape Logistics’ employee welfare fund arranged ‘Stationery Gift Arrangement’ for all the children of their employees recently. The objective of this worthy project was to bear the high cost of their education at this difficult time for all, as a responsible organization.


Three charm events for gift awarding had been organized in three company locations, Colombo Head Office, Galle Fleet Management Facility & Kurunegala Warehouse Complex.

Seascape recognized by INSEE Cement with a special appreciation award for the highest achievement of bulk material handling operation at Hambantota International Port. As the Logistics Partner in bulk material handling operations at HIPG, Seascape Logistics recorder 14,000 MT plus rate (24 hours), vessel MVUNIVERSAL BANGKOK, completed on 22nd of June 2022.

We have strengthened our fleet with a greater number of HC trucks. With the understating of the service requirement of our valued customers, Seascape added another eighteen units of high-cubic trucks in to our bulk material hauling operation from October 2022.

We would like to thank our two main banking partners, Commercial Bank & Sampath Bank, in to this project, for the support extended in making the facility arrangement, despite of all limitations due to hard economic situation in the country.

With this recent development our total bulk hauling capacity is reaching the level of 60,000 MT/Month.

It was an unbeatable record which is set by Seascape Logistics with the record of 18,000 MT/day in bulk Clinker shipment handling at Habmantota Port.

The vessel MV TAI HUNTER unloading was successfully completed at the rate on 31st August 2022 with support of all Seascape team, suppliers and the client’s supervision.

Safety is our top priority.

Driving our very strong safety policy with the setting of guidelines and procedures that a logistics company puts in place to ensure the safety of its employees, customers, and the public, Seascape Logistics organized a very successful Safety Awareness Session for our truck operators on 28th October 2022. A general safety policy should cover all aspects of the company's operations, including the handling and transportation of goods, the use of equipment and machinery, and the maintenance of the company's facilities and vehicles.

The session was organized by the Safety Division of Seascape, with participation of the Safety & operational managers of INSEE Cement.

Despite of all the limitations had to face as a country as well as a company due to number of barriers, Seascape could surpass this number with the dedication of our team and the support of all our valued suppliers in repairing trucks fleet and arranging of fuel, tires and other spare parts for a continuous operation.
