Our Commitment

We are dedicated to maintaining a safe, healthy, and professional workplace. Staff, contractors, and visitors must remain free from the influence of drugs or alcohol while carrying out duties.

Key Rules

  • • No working under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • • No possession of alcohol or illegal drugs on company premises
  • • No appearance or behavior suggesting impairment
  • • Applies to all employees, contractors, and agency workers

Equipment Safety

  • • Testing: Random or targeted screening may be required for safety-critical roles or suspected impairment
  • • Searches: Lockers, desks, and personal belongings may be searched if there are reasonable grounds
  • • Confiscation: Alcohol or Drugs found will be retained or destroyed and may be used in disciplinary action

Support for Staff

  • • If you have a drug or alcohol problem, seek help — we will support recovery efforts
  • • Disciplinary action may be paused if treatment is undertaken
  • • Raise concerns about co-workers confidentially with your manager
  • • Bring only prescribed medication needed for personal use; be aware of side-effects

Non-compliance

Breaches of this Policy will be treated seriously and may result in disciplinary action, up to dismissal.
